The villa is located in a walking distance from Skálholt cathedral and a small petting-zoo, Slakki. Also near the national park Þingvellir (30 min), Gullfoss ( 25 min), Geysir (20 min) and Kerið volcano crater (20 min). Many geothermal heated swimming pools in the neighbourhood and also many horse rentals. A popular golf club at Kiðjaberg ( 15 min).
Stores and supermarkets in Selfoss ( 25 min) and also a small supermarket at Reykholt ( 7 min).
