Katrin is a traveller by heart. In 2008 she started to travel alone around the world and was on the road with her backpack for some years. She has travel to central America, China, Peru, south east Asia and India. Katrin studied Yoga during her stays in India and while in China she practised Martial Art. She has stayed among Kuna Indians in Panama and Shaman in the Amazon Jungle. Her interest for people and culture has brought her to study anthropology and she is curious to understand more about religions, philosophy, cuisines and how people view life. In 2019 Katrin decided to stay in Iceland for some time. She found the need to connect herself to the country where she was born and that same year she bought the Ocean Break Cabins. Now, Katrin welcomes you to her sanctuary within the Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark.
