Litlabjarg is a cosy, peaceful guest house in the countryside 25 km from Egilsstaðir and 5 mins drive off Route 1. Beautiful views of the Jökulsárdalur valley and Jökulsá river. Family farm and country store next door, open to visitors most days.
We live on a farm close to the guest house and are normally available within 5 mins if there are any problems. We are happy to help with any travel advice or other questions you may have. Guests are also welcome to visit our farm and country store - just give us a call so we can make sure we´re around! the phone reception is not good in certain spots I am alweys at home on my farm and sometimes I have to run home but I hope that makes no problems thank you for understanding that we live on the farm but guests have full acsess to us
Neighbourhood overview Litlabjarg Guest House is located in the Jökulsárdalur valley only 25km from Egilsstaðir. It is only 5 mins drive off Route 1 and in a peaceful location with only a few farmhouses nearby. Visitors can hike through the valley, drive to any number of beautiful and fascinating places in East Iceland, or visit our family farm and country store just down the hill. We sell locally made handicrafts and give guests a chance to interact first-hand with our Icelandic farm animals.
