Kjartan D is a premium host and has a long history of welcoming guests to their temporary Icelandic homes. Birta Rentals is a family business established in 2013 and has been growing steadily since.

This lovely cottage "Harpa Holiday home" is located in the northwest part of Iceland where nature is at its most beautiful and where there is plenty of entertainment for visitors. Harpa holiday home is well equipped with many comforts, such as a flat screen TV and DVD player and the kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, coffee machine and available coffee and tea. The bathroom has a spacious shower and there is a hot tub on the terrace outside. It has three bedrooms with two beds that come with linen, two towels and a bathrobe for each guest. Washer and dryer are available for guests of the house aswell as barbecue facilities on the large terrace. The view from the summer house in the south is of the local mountain and to the east of glaciers and the serenity in the environment is unique.

In the area is a nine-hole golf course within a three-minute walk from the house and two golf sets are available for guests for free. The local swimming pool is within a 5 minutes walking distance and the local area has many beautiful hiking trails. Trips to Ice Cave, which is located on Langjökull, are available every day and other wonderful places like Hraunfossar and Surtshellir are a few kilometers away. In winter the northern lights are spectacular.
