Our cabins each have a hot tub outside on the terrace. Beautiful views of mountains, also a river in walking distance. Lovely to walk around the area and enjoy the quiet and peaceful scenery.

We are Jón and Linda, We have been together for 25 years ;) We have 5 children , 2 girls 18 and 16 years and 3 boys 13, 8 and 4. We have a labrador her name is Aria, 4 years old and a 7 year old cat named Krummi :) We live in the country side by Eldhraun lava field. We moved here from Keflavik in 2015 to enjoy the magnificent nature every day. We enjoy outdoors and traveling. Linda loves taking pictures and Jón loves fishing/hunting.

Our place is a wonderful place in the country side, only 20 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Our place is a great place to see the northern lights when you get lucky enough to see them, then you can see them from the hot tub :) You can walk around the area, in summer there is much birdlife. In the town next to us ( 20km away) Kirkjubæjarklaustur you can go hiking near the waterfall Systrafoss. There is also the waterfall Stjórnarfoss, just a little 3km from the town and beautiful scenery. In the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur there is a restaurant and also restaurants in the hotels in the area.
