From the windows, the garden, and the large wooden deck, you can enjoy views of the Langanes Peninsula, along with seabirds and the soothing sounds of nature.
Just one hour from the Ring Road, the cabin feels secluded yet remains easy to reach throughout the year. Inside, there are two bedrooms, a gallery loft with two single beds, a sleeper sofa in the living room, and a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, and drying rack, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays.

Bakkafjörður is a small fishing village in North-East Iceland, known for its peaceful atmosphere, fresh sea air, and wide views of the Langanes Peninsula. Whales are occasionally spotted in the fjord, adding to the charm of this remote setting.
There is no grocery shop in the village, so it’s best to bring supplies in advance. The closest shops are in Vopnafjörður (30 km) and Þórshöfn (40 km). In the summer months, you can have a meal at the small local restaurant, and fuel is available at the village gas station.
The cabin has free private parking just outside and is easily accessible year-round. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted indoors, but guests are welcome to enjoy a cigarette on the terrace.
