Our homestay is a traditional village house providing guests a comfortable stay with the rustic feel. Our house has two floors with a terrace featuring beautiful views of the countryside, the village and the stupa. Our house has a kitchen that guests are welcome to use and cook in, also they're welcome to eat the local food cooked by us. We're located just 100 mtrs from the Sujata temple in Bakrour village besides Bodh Gaya.
I come from a farming background living here with my mother, wife and 2 children. I run a school for village children in village manjhar half an hour from here and other volunteering activities and social work in the area. I've grown up in this village and am well informed about the places around Bodh Gaya. It's my wish to interact more with people around the world and share our warmth and cultures. Namaste 🙏
Our village is a very calm place with a plethora of farming around. Surrounded by both sides by a river, village is full of palm and date trees. We're located just 2 km away from the eternal Mahabodhi temple in Bodh gaya, We're a 5 min walk away from both Sujata Stupa and the Sujata temple, place where Kheer was offered to the Buddha before his enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.
