Nestled across 48 acres of lush bamboo forest, MAYFAIR Gangtok is a serene hillside sanctuary that harmoniously blends heritage, elegance, and leisure. Located just 30 minutes from Gangtok city centre and around 3.5 hours from Bagdogra Airport (110 km), the resort offers easy access to iconic landmarks like Rumtek Monastery, Do-drul Chorten Stupa, and MG Marg Market. Once the residence of Sikkim’s former Chief Minister, the resort’s architecture, infused with monastic motifs, Sri Lankan gables, and Odishan stonework—tells a story of culture, grace, and timeless charm. Once the private residence of Sikkim’s former Chief Minister, Shri Nar Bahadur Bhandari, the property showcases an eclectic blend of monastery-inspired gold-touched doors, Sri Lankan gables and eaves, and Odisha’s iconic red-stone sculptures. Within the resort, a beautifully crafted temple replicates the sacred Shivalingam from Kathmandu’s Pashupatinath Temple. Mandatory New Year's Eve Special Dinner (31st December) per adult: INR 7500 including GST, per child(from 6 to 12 years old): INR 4000 including GST, directly payable on check-in at the hotel.
