Nestling at the foot of the famous Cliffs of Moher, this harbour village is also your departure point for a trip to the Aran Islands which lie at the mouth of Galway Bay with daily ferry sailings throughout the summer months. Walk the cliffs to O’Brien’s Tower, or ramble along the many country lanes which criss-cross the famous Burren landscape. Surf or play golf in nearby Lahinch, walk on the beach in Fanore and watch the sun set on the bay from the rocks by the harbour before heading into the village to experience some of the traditional music for which the village is famed.
