Lagom Townhouse consists of Lagom Restaurant on the ground floor and bedrooms on the upper two levels . Access to your bedroom is via flights of stairs. There is a separate front door to the townhouse bedrooms. The Townhouse was originally set up to accommodate our dinner guests so it is not a hotel in the conventional sense. We don't have a bar, reception or communal areas. Lagom is located in the centre of Kenmare allowing you easy access to everything the town has to offer, but only a short walk back to your accommodation where you can relax with coffee or tea in your room and “fika” (on arrival) before getting ready for your evening out or your evening in, resting before another day of exploring this beautiful part of Kerry. Our rooms are individually named and decorated with tones and fabrics in keeping with the ‘Lagom’ theme of ‘not too much, not too little, just right,’ acknowledging the natural beauty that surrounds us in Kenmare. Continuing the ethos that is 'Lagom' you will find locally made soap bar and shampoo bar in your bathroom (reducing plastic use as much as possible). Since opening in 2021 we are delighted to have become a welcoming resting place for guests who want to relax after a hike on the Kerry Way or Beara Way, and for guests discovering the welcome that Kenmare offers during a few night's stay in the town. Lagom Townhouse cannot accept reservations for large group celebrations such as Stag or Hen parties. Check-in policy: We offer check-in to the townhouse from 3pm on the day of arrival, please get in touch to let us know your time of arrival so we can meet you for check-in access and key collection. The very latest time for check-in is 9pm.

Kenmare as a holiday destination has lots to offer including a variety of restaurants, cafes, walking/hiking opportunities, live music, pubs, art galleries, clothes shops. Kenmare town is located on the Ring of Kerry making it a great place to base yourself to explore Kerry.
