Located in Athlone town centre, Arch House is just 2 minutes' walk from the historic Athlone Castle, Old Town, and River Shannon. It offers rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi, free parking and home-cooked breakfasts. All rooms at the B&B offer tea and coffee facilities and cable TV. Ironing supplies and laundry facilities are also available upon request. Traditional cooked Irish breakfasts with homemade breads are served each morning at the Arch House B&B & Apartments. Opposite the property there is an internet café. Athlone is renowned for its excellent selection of restaurants, and staff can assist guests with recommendations and reservations. Arch House is easily accessible from the M6, and 1 hour’s drive from Dublin and Galway. Athlone’s shopping centre, train and bus stations are all within a 5-minute walk. Clonmacnoise Monastic Settlement, Locke's Distillery and Belvedere House are just 30 minutes away and bus tours are available daily.
