The family run An Portan Guesthouse is situated in Dún Chaoin on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula.
The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. Each room has its own entrance door, en-suite bathroom,TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
There are many fantastic hiking trails nearby as well as some of the most stunning beaches in the world.
An Portan is situated in a nature lovers paradise, overlooking the Blasket Islands, which are visited by very many of our visitors. An Portan is close to Ionad an Blascaoid and across the road from Krugers pub which provides lunches and evening meals.
“Room was big and comfortable. Washing facilities were great as they have soft water. The choice of breakfast was good as well. I had a sizeable omelette for breakfast. The local pub was a very short walk away, which had a great atmosphere.”
