We are zumarni and robert a married couple. Zumarni is originally from padang and robert is from london england.

We have worked hard for nearly 3 years to get over 100 review scores of 10 out of 10 The view homestay is just outside of the city on the side of a hill overlooking the Indian ocean. Here you will experience the best view in Padang, see beautiful sunsets and be surrounded by nature. There is a large outside area with a café, food, beer and soft drinks. We have an outside beach hut with hard wood floor perfect for yoga. Tea and coffee are free for guests. laundry service available. we offer paid airport pickup and transfers to Mentawai ferry. We can help with booking surf camps or Mentawai tribe guide. Car and driver are available for hire and day trips around the area. You can rent a motor bike. All this just 8 minutes from the Mentawai fast ferry and City centre. Robert originally from London and zumarni from Padang will do are very best to help you have a quiet and relaxed stay here at THE VIEW homestay. Guests come here to get out of the city and enjoy the view. Please don’t come here and complain that it not in the city.
