Reggae Guest House is a friendly, welcoming, guesthouse located on the edge of Lake Toba. This is a family-run accommodation, managed and staffed by a welcoming Batak family. Every single room here has spectacular views of the lake, and access to the lake itself is mere steps away from your front door. We are in a quiet spot, away from the noise of the larger hotels but within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Every room is clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets, hot water, and western toilets. Even our unique 150-year-old Batak house (triple family room) is clean and comfortable, complete with a balcony to relax on as you take in the spectacular views of the ferries passing by on the lake. The views from our common lounge and patio restaurant area are just as epic. Enjoy Western or local food and a cold Bintang while you soak it all in. But the best part about our place (apart from those views that just don't quit!) is the friendly welcome you'll get. Our family is always here to help you with anything you need - whether it's lunch delivered to your room, scooter hire, or advice on getting around Lake Toba.

Tuk Tuk is the central tourist area on Samosir Island, in the middle of the enormous crater lake, Lake Toba. Just a small peninsula on the side of the vast island, Tuk Tuk has everything you could need, whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure, foodie paradise, or cultural immersion. There are numerous restaurants serving delicious Indonesian cuisine and Western food. There are endless lake views to enjoy, souvenir shops to browse, and some gorgeous places to sit back and enjoy a drink. Of course, there's also Lake Toba itself! Hire a kayak, jump on a jetski, take a speedboat or ferry ride to explore the Lake. Scooter or bicycle hire is another great way to explore Tuk Tuk and the rest of Samosir Island. Catch a Batak cultural performance, learn about Batak culture at one of the unique sites on the island, or visit a bustling local market to soak it all in.
