Red Beach Homestay is 300 metres from beautiful Pulau Merah Beach. Great for surfing, swimming or sunbaking. The house has 4 bedrooms, economy or air conditioning rooms. There is also a large private bungalow out the back. Ceiling fans are available in all rooms. The homestay is set very close to the beach. Behind the house is a coconut grove. There is a good WIFI and private seating areas out the back. The house has very high ceilings and is airy and spacious . There are many pieces of artwork in the house and several large wall murals.

I am a retired school teacher & have been living in Indonesia for the last 8 years ......at Red Beach Homestay. We have a great breakfast menu. Banana pancakes, fresh fruit and omelettes. BBQ 'S can be organized as well as surfboard rental, motorbikes and day trips. Surfing lessons can be organised if guests require lessons. I am happy to help visitors to the homestay explore the local area.

Pulau Merah is a small traditional Javanese village. Most people work as fisherman, rice farmers or at the nearby gold mine. The locals are friendly and are very welcoming to tourists and visitors. There are many small cafes (warungs) and restaurants very close to the homestay. Try the local foods they are delicious! Day trips and tours of the local area can be organized for those wishing to do local sightseeing and see the local Javanese culture.
