住宿信息
Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp is set in a 55 hectare forest reserve on Lombok's rugged south
east coast. Situated on a private cove that was voted one of the top ten best beaches in
the world by Harpers Bazaar U.K., the beach camp is styled after a traditional sasak
fishing camp with all 11 suites having spectaculer open views across the Indian Ocean to
the island of Sumbawa. Beloam derives from the Sasak word describing the topography and
stark beauty of the Tanjung Ringgit peninsula. Jeeva Beloam prides itself on protecting
and promoting Sasak culture and traditions by offering an authentic ‘Lombok' experience
to our guests.
Jeeva Beloam is located in a rugged, remote area and is totally off the grid. Fresh water is
produced by mixing desalinated sea water mixed with well water. Electricity is on during
set hours only and is generated through a combination of solar panels and a generator set.
Telecommunications are mostly sporadic and there is no wifi. Due to the isolated nature of
the camp, meals and non alcholic drinks are included in the room rate.
Jeeva Beloam is a truly unique destination designed to be a true escape from the world
around us.
周边信息
The camp is on the eastern edge of Lombok’s Tanjung Ringgit peninsula near Ekas Bay with its world class diving and surfing opportunities. Our guests enjoy an easy walk to Teluk Temeak for snorkeling, diving and other water sports. Diving for advanced divers is also possible outside the Jeeva Beloam cove and along the cliffs of Tanjung Ringgit facing the Alas Straits.
Jeeva Beloam’s guests often take excursions to the Pink Beach and the surrounding area, including to the Japanese cannon emplacements at the tip of Tanjung Ringgit. The mixture of sand and red coral on the seabed at the Pink Beach provides an excellent hiding place for fish of all kinds with world class snorkeling and diving.
Beginner surfers should start in the inside area of Ekas Bay, just 20 kilometers across the Tanjung Ringgit peninsula from Jeeva Beloam. The outer area of Ekas Bay offers more challenging waves for advanced surfers.
Fishing from the small cliff on Umang Island requires both speed and decisiveness and knowing when exactly to reel in the line. Delay in pulling in the line means the fish will likely hide behind the corals making it very difficult to actually catch the fish.
