Hello! I'm Bobby from Indonesia.
My family've lived at World Heritage Village 'Borobudur'. We love traditional things, antique stuff, gardening, nature, creative things. Our bungalows was born from our interest.
We've made our own bungalows designed by ourselves for about 2 years. Now We have 5 wooden bungalow.
Janur's some bungalows are made from repurposed scrap wood, including 100-year old rosewood. The handwoven roofs are made of local, sustainable bamboo.
To give exotic experience we plant so many kind of spices& tropical fruit in our garden. Sometime we cook some spices or vegetable from our garden directly for your table.

Janur Bungalow is located about 4km from the magnificent Borobudur Temple(the world’s largest Buddhist structure) and
surrounded by Menoreh mountains which can offer amazing nature experience.
It's great location to visit to Borobudur temple and experience about local's daily life and wild nature.
Except visiting 'Borobudur temple', You can experience about Javanese farm life such as harvesting for cassava, tobacco, clove, paddy etc.and culture such like Jatilan dance, gamelan performance, tofu industry, pottery processing around here. If you love to adventure, you can do rafting at Progo river, short trekking behind of our bungalows, cycling with bike or Andong tour around here. We can offer Village Experience by walk as Sustainable tourism with professional guide. This can offer the experience about our local village including local's daily life&culture&nature at the Menoreh mountains.
Now we're ready to meet our friend at our sweet bungalows under family management. We hope you feel comfortable here like your home.

We're in the muslim area like most of Indonesia so you can listen some sound from the Mosque 5 times per day.(-including some special ceremony day). Please understand and respect this culture.

Cuz of around our place is still rural area and the infra from government is not enough, There is no public transportation between the village. If you need the transportation, You need to rent a car or motor or Call a Grab or you can use ojek(-motor taxi) or by walk in this area.
