Welcome to Floating Paradise. Step out of your everyday lives and submerge yourself in a space of natural beauty. Our 3 room guest house is built on wooden stilts above the sea, where you can dive off the jetty into deep water and instantly snorkel at the reefs edge. Our rooms are simple, yet cosy and unique, and the entire property runs on solar energy. We pride ourselves on quality, personalised hospitality, helping you curate a unique experience here on the island. There is direct road access to the property and we also have a small motorised boat to drop off and pick up guests from the bay. There is wifi at the property.

My name is Tono, and I am the owner of this sleepy little eco-guesthouse here in my hometown, Karimunjawa. My family have been living and working here for generations, and I’m very grateful that I can call this beautiful island home. I'm passionate about sharing this place with others and making sure tourists who visit have a unique and memorable time here. I’ve been working in tourism for the last 12 years, and running and welcoming guests here at Floating Paradise since 2017. My wife Astrid and I are passionate about slow living, making eco-conscious decisions, and enjoying the calming effects of nature. We believe our children can thrive on this island, which inspired us to build a foundation that improves access to quality education and employability skills on the island. We look forward to hosting and sharing this special little place in the world with you.

Floating Paradise is located in the more secluded eastern part of the island, close to Bobi Beach. A stunning white sand beach, with shallow turquoise water. The Turtle Sanctuary is also in the same bay as the guesthouse, and can be reached by boat within 5 minutes (we can take you there in our motorised boat, and take you for a sunset cruise!). Guests can also go for a 45 minute hike between two of the main hills and reach Love Hill, a little gift shop/cafe with breathtaking views over the island. Shorter walks are also possible from the property, i.e. to the ‘abandoned village’ and to the beach. Restaurants can be found 3 km away in town.
