The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. The 200-years-old historic listed building gives the ambience of the 19th century. Some of the rooms have views of the Belső-tó. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and continental breakfast is included in the room price. From the seasonal outdoor pool guests can enjoy the view of the Belső-tó's wildlife. The Houses of History is a pet-friendly accommodation and provides paid private parking. All rooms feature air conditioning and a flat screen TV. In the neighbourhood guests can try horse-riding or take a horse-drawn carriage ride. The public beach is 15 minutes away on foot. Lavender House Visitor Centre is 5 minutes away and István Bujtor Open-Air Stage is 3 minutes away. Őrtorony viewpoint and the vineyard of Tihany are easily accessible on foot, bicycle or horse-back.
