The accommodation offered by me is located within the walls of a monumental building in one of Eger's barokk age built building. It's based on Forst Antal as well as his son, Forst Ignác dreams. With the expansion of the wing for Saint John (János) street, it gained it's present form by 1777. The construction can be tied to Povolni János's name. Whose who stay here within the nearly 250 years old walls, can experience the past's presence combined with the present-day era.

I live within these walls for 8 years and I think it's important to show, for those who visits Eger, the palpable dignity, calmness and mood of the Fort House.

When we look trough the apartman's Archbishop (Érsek) street window, we can see the Dobó István square, the Eger Castle and the Town Hall. You can admire the Elizabeth (Erzsébet) courtyard from within the bedroom's window as well from the Tuscan columns porch equality. Within Eger's 1 kilometre downtown area, on foot, everything is reachable: Archbishop-garden (Érsek-kert), Eger Basilica, Minaret, Archbishop's Palace (Érseki Palota), Lyceum, County Hall.
