As a Flemish couple we were mainly looking for a place where we could relax. When we discovered this property, we were immediately sold. The quiet location, the beautiful nature and the breathtaking view over the lake make this property a dream home. The previous owners, Johnny & Berkis, have transformed this holiday home into a place with all the trimmings and where it is always nice and comfortable to stay. We therefore want to continue working on this impetus and strive to provide all our guests with an unforgettable holiday.

Beach House Orfű has a lot to offer for both the active holiday maker and the bon vivant. This holiday home is in a private domain with 10 other properties and has a private parking. The garden borders directly on Lake Orfű. On the private lawn and the jetty you can fully enjoy the sun, the peace and the beautiful view. The beautiful nature and the wooded area are perfect for a walk, a bike or mountain bike ride, but also for a horse ride. Because of its location on the lake, this property is also ideal for swimming, pedal boating, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. Fishing enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for here: African dwarf catfish, perch, barbel, grass carp, houting, carp (scales and mirrors up to 30 kg), marene, catfish, eel, roofblei (up to 90 cm), serpeling, snape, pike, walleye , sterlet, bindweed, sunbass and all other white-fish species known to us can be caught here (with a permit). You can also relax here in the winter months. You will be amazed by the breathtaking winter landscape. Cross-country skiing in the area is possible and with some luck you can also skate on the lake.

Beach House Orfű is the ideal base for relaxation, shopping and culture. There are a few local shops, bars and restaurants in the village itself. Within walking distance you can also find mini golf, tennis club and horse riding stables. Don't forget to visit the mill museum in Orfű! Abaliget (4 km) is known for its stalactite cave. The Magyarhertelend thermal bath, with both indoor and outdoor pools, is 7 km away. The Pécs Zoo (13 km), a small but cozy zoo, is certainly worth a visit, if only for its unique location in the Mecsek Mountains. The nearest large city is 15 km away. The lively university town of Pécs was Europe's cultural capital in 2010. In the center there are many nostalgic shops, cafés and restaurants. You can stroll through the streets full of beautiful monuments and historic buildings, but you can also enjoy yourself on a terrace at one of the many pleasant markets. The real shopper can visit the Árkád or Pécs Plaza Shopping Center. Liszt Ferenc International Airport and the capital Budapest are around 250 km from Orfű.
