Il Melograno is an original Dalmatian stone house which has been renovated a few years ago. From the terrace and the windows of the house you will be able to see as far as the island of Brac, the city of Makarska on the coast or the profile of the beautiful Biokovo mountain.
Gordana loves the sea and yoga. She lives on the island with her husband Renzo. They speak English, Italian, Croatian and French. They will be more than happy to help you with everything you may need during your stay. It is very easy to rent a scooter or a bike, go for sailing, fishing, scuba diving and more in Stari Grad or Jelsa or Vrboska.
Vrbanj is a small Dalmatian village. It is quite and relaxing even at the peak of the holiday season. A bit detached from crowded Hvar town but still close enough - 20 minutes drive away - if you fancy some ‘Summer adrenaline’. The village konoba (small restaurant), two grocery shops and the local bar are all walking distance from Il Melograno. Getting around the island requires some mean of transport. Our previous guests have used their cars, or rented bikes or scooters or simply hired a taxi. The parking of the house is under natural shade all day, suitable for one car or a small van or for parking scooters.
