I am an architect and designer, but in recent years I’ve also become a passionate writer and walker. I’m a devoted camino ambassador, as I’ve experienced the profound impact of pilgrimage walks through 17 journeys across Spain and Portugal. All my loves have come together in this little house in Selce: it is crafted with a refined designer’s eye and a free pilgrim’s soul. This seaside oasis occasionally hosts camino workshops that connect and educate. My wish is that the space draws in those who already carry the camino in their heart—or those who feel the quiet call to take their first step. Guests will find information in the form of books, a wall map, and, of course, myself. But even if none of this speaks to you yet, you’re warmly welcome to simply come... and enjoy.

Charming Camino House is located in Camp Selce, along the Adriatic coast. The mobile home is designed in the spirit of the camino. A large wall map of Spanish and Portuguese pilgrimage routes stretches across the living room, offering guests inspiration and ideas for their future camino adventures. There are camino books available (for reading or purchase), and a characteristic yellow-arrow stone—an iconic symbol of the camino—marks the spot in front of the house and makes the home easy to recognize. The house offers six beds (two double bedrooms and a pull-out sofa) and three foldable “pilgrim” beds for outdoor sleeping under the stars. It includes two bathrooms, a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, a TV, air conditioning, a hair dryer, and Wi-Fi. A large covered terrace with a dining area, outdoor lounge, and swings invites guests to enjoy the luxury of outdoor living in privacy and peace. A modern two-story swimming pool complex is located right next to the house, and the nearest beach is just a 3-minute walk away. A charming bay with a nudist beach (FKK) is a 15-minute walk. A 10-minute stroll brings you to the town of Selce, and from there, a scenic seaside promenade leads all the way to Crikvenica. The house is only a 2-hour drive from Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana.

A modern two-level swimming pool complex is right next to the house, and the nearest beach is just a 3-minute walk away. A picturesque bay with a nudist (FKK) beach is a 15-minute stroll. A 10-minute walk leads to the center of Selce, and from there, a beautiful coastal promenade continues all the way to Crikvenica.
