So it is necessary for our guests to be modest and adventurous. ...................................................................................................... Access to the house is possible from the sea or by land. It is preferable to arrive in the daylight, because there is no public lighting on the location. If you are by car there is a 10 minutes walk from the nearest parking place to the house and the luggage (drinking water, food...) needs to be carried along by foot. In that case it is recommended to bring smaller suitcases because a pathway leading to the house gets narrow in some parts. Biking on the path is not allowed. Most elegant way is to bring the luggage (from port of Vis) directly to the house by a Taxi boat. That way guests often choose to send the luggage and walk to the house. You have to let us know prior to your arrival, if you wish to book the taxi boat so we can make a reservation and organize it for you. Hopefully the weather conditions are fine as well. The cost of the taxi boat is 50 eur.

Usually I welcome my guests at at the house and if time allows me I meet them at the parking place to help with the luggage. I can send the ferry schedules map and video directions by whats-app once you contact me. I am available for any additional information you need and will be happy to help you with anything you want to know during your vacation. The best period to visit the island is off-season. At that time you can really feel the beauty of the island. But even in July and August it is beautiful and you can always find special places just for you. The house is decorated in the style of Provence and with Its hand made furniture gives a special warm feeling. It has air-condition and everything necessary for daily stays (2 towels per person, toilette papers, blankets, hairdryer,...). Kitchen has 2 gas burners, refrigerator with a small freezer and basic equipment like dishes, toaster, stick blender, water heater, coffee maker, basic spices, oil, vinegar, detergents, soap, candles...). Food and drinking water needs to be brought along. Bathroom is indoors with an outdoor enclosed shower it has no heated water. Sleeping area is on the loft (spacious and sitting height) and it might not be very comfortable for tall people or people intolerant to small places. Because of the unprotected loft stairs the place is not so suitable for little children. In front of the house is a covered space with wooden table, hammock and benches from where the stairs leads down to the sea. To the other side there is a stony terrace where you can relax and sunbath in deckchairs. There are some sea urchins at the bottom of the sea but the access to the sea is also available by stairs.

*OUR REQUIREMENTS* Please contact us a day or two before your arrival so we can determine the check in time, bringing your luggage to the house, if you want to rent a taxi-boat and where can I send you the directions to the house. We kindly ask our guests to take care of things. Keeping the place tidy and taking good care of things will prevent rats and mice coming into the house. It is also difficult to renovate and fix things in such a secluded area. Things here are not accessible or quickly arranged so if something goes wrong, we have to wait patiently for the service from mainland. We don't wish to welcome guests that don't save energy sources and have no nature conservation awareness or are untidy. Modesty and unpretentiousness are required! Water is from a well and it is required to pay attention to the consumption of it! Animal world is all around but there are no poisonous animals on the island. Lizards, wasps, bees, snakes, mice, rats, spiders, ... usually keep away from humans but you must keep the place clean and tidy, keep your food and the smell of the food away from them. *HOUSE RULES* - Be careful with fire (candles, mosquito spirals, cigarettes) always place candles on the candle holder - Do not flush any other products down the toilette but the toilette paper - Keep the place clean and food stored away to avoid ants, rats and mice entering the house - Salt attracts moisture so please do not enter the house wet from sea - Store pillows and other things under the roof when leaving the house - Turn off the air-cone when leaving the house - Fasten things with pins so the wind can not blow them away - Do not move the mattresses from the loft to the floor - Do not remove bigger objects (table, benches... ) from their original position - Do not turn off the refrigerator off at night / set it to maximum 2-4 - Do not water the indoor plants
