Nikos Vranas is the youngest son of the Vranas family and today is the manager of Vranas Hotel. You will find him at reception each morning. Born and raised in Chania, he usually divides his time between the hotel and his other passion, the basketball court, and is a member of the local basketball team. But his priorities are now about to change, as he is looking forward to the birth of his first child in November! It is already clear that he will make a lovely father!

For more than two decades, Vranas family is enjoying to provide hospitality. From the grandfather to the daughters and sons and now to the grandchildren, you are going to meet us all at the reception and common areas. Vranas Hotel is located in the center of Chania Old Town. It is just behind the Cathedral of Eisodion and 100 meters from the Venetian Harbor along a relaxed and picturesque old pedestrian street. You will also find two locally owned restaurants and some shops in the same street. Other famous local restaurants and bars are close by, and you are only two minutes walk from the old Municipal Market of Chania (currently under restoration). It is a 500 meter walk from the Central Bus Station and about 14 mins by foot to the beach at Nea Chora! Close to the new town, but tucked away in the old, you will have the opportunity to explore the best of Chania on foot and become immersed in the many layers of history, while enjoying all the contemporary delights.
