I am Elissavet, your contact person with Vegera beach house. My origins is from Donoussa and as a child I used to spend all my Summers in the island. I like travelling, music, cinema, tennis, fashion. I love Greek Summers, Cyclades islands and sea. I hope to enjoy your stay in Vegera beach house.

Property information

Father's old stone built 'taverna' was recently renovated and converted into a house, with respect to local architecture. The house is located in Kalotaritissa bay, just above two marvelous beaches, offering breathtaking view of the Aegean sea. Access to both below beaches require only 2 minutes walk, while a third sandy beach ' Tripiti' is found exactly opposite the villa. The house is independent and consists of 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 single bed) and 1 bathroom. An open plan space hosts a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, as well as a dining and sitting area. A sofa-bed can accommodate the sleep of one more person. A shaded yard with outdoor furniture is ideal for relaxation. Parking area is found next to the property. A bus connects Kalotaritissa with Stavros and the other villages and beaches with several routes per day. The bus station is located exactly opposite the villa. On arrival, we transfer guests from the port to the house with our vehicle.

Neighbourhood information

The villa is located in Kalotaritissa bay, in the north eastern part of Donoussa. Kalotaritissa distances only 11 kms from Stavros port. Time seems to have stopped in this unspoilt village which remains witness of what were Cyclades islands many years ago. Three protected beaches from seasonal winds (meltemi) are ideal for swimming, diving and snorkeling. A yoga tent is operated near the house and you can attend yoga lessons. A taverna, open all day, is serving local specialities.
