SKALA MARIES THASSOS: Picturesque fishing village with three wonderful organized beaches (Skala Maries, Atspas, Platanes with the Aquapark), each with its own distinct character. - Around the center beach Skala Maries, in the center of the village, 60 meters from the Sunny studio, there are picturesque taverns, restaurants, cafe, bars, pizzeria, super markets, bakery, fish market and a pharmacy. - Atspas, sandy beach is one of the most popular on the island, is offered for families and small children, is about 300 meters far away from Sunny studio. There is a beach bar and a restaurant. - Platanes beach is also about 300 meters far away from Sunny studio, and there is a beach bar and a Aquapark. The village is famous for amazing sunset. - If somebody wants a quite place for swimming, diving or fishing, will prefer the Fari beach or Emerald beach, about 500 – 600 meters away from village. At a distance of 10-15 minutes by car, there are the beaches of Trypitis, Limenaria, Metalleia, Pefkari, Potos. Near to the village, 8 km away is Limenaria (a big village, with many shops) and after 3 km is Potos (for young people, there are many bars – clubs). Also, you can visit a small lake, near the traditional village Maries, in the middle of the forest, 10 km from the Sunny studio. Famous natural pool Giola "Tear of Venus". In the capital, Limenas of Thassos, there are the Archaeological Museum and the Ancient Theater.
