We wish to share the elegance and history of 19th-century Mytilene and so with great passion we endeavour to preserve the authenticity of this immaculate residence. “StiLiana - a Boutique Mansion Experience” One of the most rare and distinguished 18th Century Mansions of Lesvos, this year opens its doors to welcome you to experience a unique and unforgettable stay where the grandeur of a past era meets the warmth of genuine hospitality. “StiLiana” was built in 1896 by the grain merchant, Mr Panagiotis Vamvouris with the vision of a lasting family legacy to remain in his family for generations to come. Today the ownership of the Mansion belongs to Mr. Christos Tsakiris - the great-great-grandson of its original founder - who along with his parents lovingly preserve this architectural and cultural treasure he inherited and wishes to now make available to share with others for the first time. As you enter the grounds and wander through the beautiful front garden you are lead to the majestic marble staircase to ascend to the front terrace, reaching the stately vestibule and imposing iron doors. Upon stepping inside the foyer of the "StiLiana" Mansion, you are immediately transported into the timeless opulence of a bygone era. Remarkably well preserved, the home retains much of its original antique furnishings and refined decor. Over the years, great care has been taken to preserve every element in its original form, an enduring tribute to the vision of its founder, Mr. Vamvouris.

The Mansion is situated in Makris Gialos, opposite the Marina and Yacht Club of Mytilene, a wonderful spot to enjoy your coffee during the day or a meal in the evening by the sea. There is free public parking available directly across the road and buses running between the center and the airport, stop nearby on the main road. Directly next door there is a mini market which is open from early in the morning until late at night. The main city of Mytilene and the bustling Ermou central market is a short 15 min walk and along the way you will encounter retail stores, restaurants and Greek traditional Taverns offering local flavours and delicacies, cozy cafés, petrol stations, ATMs, courier centers, liquor stores, large super markets and the main bus depot to access other villages on the island. The main Port is a 5 minute drive from "StiLiana" while the airport is only 10 minutes away and the University of the Aegean is just 4 minutes down the road.
