Perched on the cliffs of Oia, Alexander’s Suites offers traditional cave-style accommodations with breathtaking views of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea. The property combines the charm of Santorini’s architecture with modern comforts and personalized service. Guests can relax by the hotel’s infinity pool, overlooking the deep blue sea and the whitewashed houses of Oia with its famous blue-domed churches and unforgettable sunset views. Each suite is uniquely decorated with antique furnishings and features air conditioning, a living area, and a private terrace with panoramic sea views. Several suites also include a private outdoor hot tub, perfect for enjoying the sunset in complete privacy. Breakfast is served à la carte in your room or on your balcony, featuring freshly prepared local specialties. The bar offers cocktails and Santorinian wines with spectacular Caldera views. Guests can enjoy in-room wellness options, such as massages and beauty treatments, or ask the staff to arrange private transfers, catamaran cruises, or volcano excursions. Located just a few minutes’ walk from Oia’s pedestrian street, Alexander’s Suites is close to traditional tavernas, boutique shops, and the island’s iconic sunset viewpoint at Oia Castle. My name is Alex, and I am part of the family behind Alexander’s Suites. I have always loved meeting people from around the world and sharing the beauty of Santorini. I enjoy traveling, the sea, and spending time with friends at a taverna by the water with a glass of wine. When I am not welcoming guests, I spend time gardening or enjoying life with my two children and our three dogs. For me, hospitality is personal. It is about creating genuine connections and helping guests experience Santorini not just as visitors but as friends discovering the island’s soul.

Alexander’s Suites is a boutique cave hotel perched on the cliffs of Oia, offering breathtaking views of the Caldera and volcano. Each suite is carved into the rock and uniquely decorated with antique pieces from the owner’s private collection. The property combines the traditional charm of Santorini’s architecture with modern comforts, creating a truly one-of-a-kind stay. Guests can enjoy elegant interiors, private terraces with hot tubs, and panoramic sea views, all just a short walk from the heart of Oia. Originally opened in 2003 with just three cave villas, Alexander’s has grown to thirteen unique suites and villas while remaining true to its roots of warm Greek hospitality and personal service.
