Property information
Wren’s nest is a wonderfully wooden cabin on wheels nestled on the edge of ancient oak woodland secluded in a Cornish valley just 3 miles from the popular town of Wadebridge.
A quirky space awaits you inside complete with a cosy wood burning stove to keep you warm in the chillier times.
Wren’s nest is situated on a sociable 1 acre site with a few other unique dwellings dotted around with each one having their own privacy.
Wren’s nest has a deck where you can drink your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening after you’ve cooked your meal on the fire.
It has a private covered area and its own composting toilet.
Mill Valley has 2 wood fired showers and a wood fired bath which are shared among other guests.
The site is a “leave your devices behind” and get back to basics off grid experience.
Enjoy the birdsong, read a book, have a paddle in the nearby river, sit by candle light and admire the stars while toasting marshmallows over the fire pit!
Please be aware we are a totally off grid site and therefore NO electricity or Wi-Fi is available. Your own transport is recommended as we are 3 miles from the nearest town.
Neighbourhood information
We are located between the villages of St.Mabyn and Sladesbridge just a short drive from Wadebridge and Padstow. From the site there are 2 riverside walks (one takes you to St.Mabyn, the other to Sladesbridge.
The coast is only a 15 minute drive away. Tintagel and Boscastle are 30 minutes. The Eden project is 30 minutes.
