Full of rural charm and character, come and stay in our recently converted stable suites, set in a beautiful tranquil hamlet at the foot of the Quantock hills. Open plan and wood lined with local Red Cedar, a delightfully peaceful rural retreat awaits. Most suitable for 2 adults with the option of extra sleeping on the small double sofa bed. Ideal for small groups or extended family to hire both cabins for exclusive occupancy. Free private on-site parking and free WiFi. Super comfy pocket-sprung king-size bed, and a deluxe en-suite shower room. Fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, microwave/grill, 2-ring induction hob, air-fryer, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. We have also included a flat-screen smart TV. There is secure mountain bike lock up, and wash down area. Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee for up to 2 dogs. Please book in advance.
Sally and Jonathan live here at the farmhouse with two teenagers, two ponies, a Jack Russell, and not forgetting our 3yr old tom cat who patrols the farm looking for mice and anything else that moves! "We are extremely proud of our stable conversions, creating a truly unique cabin experience in the heart of the stunning quantock hills and the perfect base to go exploring. We are sure you will love them as much as we do!" Sally is a local wildlife artist who has enjoyed painting Endangered animals & fund raising for WWF alongside running the holiday lets. You will find a few examples of her paintings on the walls of your cabin.
Triscombe is a little hamlet at the foot of the Quantock hills, known for its coombes, woodland valleys and open moorland, perfect for mountain biking, walking & horse riding. Walk or cycle direct from your door up the rather steep hill, or drive to one of the car parks at the top of Triscombe Stone, Crowcombe Park Gate or Lydeard Hill. Local Co-op for provisions at Bishops Lydeard (5 miles) or Williton (6.5 Miles). Crowcombe Village Shop (1 mile). Local Taxi: EV Taxis Watchet.
