Thornton Manor is a fine grade 11 listed house built in the middle of the 19th Century in the Elizabethan style and surrounded by exquisite park and gardens.
With an emphasis on comfort, & warmth – our cottages are fully equipped for a relaxing and memorable stay. We have fourteen cottages available within the grounds, each one distinctively elegant and laced in history and charm.

Thornton Manor is superbly situated with easy access to all main motorway and rail networks. Positioned in a rural location on The Wirral, it is a mere 12 miles from Liverpool and 50 miles from Manchester.
Both are thriving cities offering Business, cultural and shopping facilities of the highest standards. Cheshire Oaks Outlet village is a 10 minute drive away. Manchester Airport is 42 miles to the east and offers daily international flights as well as domestic services.

Please note that our hot tubs are 4 seaters and only available in some room types: Two-Bedroom Cottage ( East Lodge ), Three-Bedroom Cottage ( Gate House ) , Cottage with Garden View, Four-Bedroom Cottage ( Grooms Cottage ), Three-Bedroom Cottage (Manor Cottage 1).
Please note that use of hot tub will incur an additional charge of GBP50 per stay.
