Welcome to the George Hotel Wallingford The George Hotel, a 16th Century Coaching Inn, is set in the very centre of this pretty, historic market town. Modern Facilities for Business and Leisure Whilst retaining much of its original character, The George has been sympathetically extended, and now provides every modern facility for the business and leisure traveller in 39 attractively decorated rooms. Civil Ceremonies in an Idyllic Setting The George is licenced for Civil Ceremonies and, with the beautiful Castle Gardens located to the rear, is the perfect venue for Weddings. With three designated function rooms, we are able to accommodate conferences and private events for up to 120. Free Parking and Electric Charging Points Available (free of charge for residents) and WiFi Ample free parking is available on site and the hotel has Wireless and Broadband Internet connectivity throughout. Please make sure you register your vehicle with Reception as we operate an Automatic Number Plate Reader (ANPR) camera and fines will be issued to vehicles not registered. You must also enter the correct number of days you are staying for. Sightseeing on our Doorstep Sited close to the River Thames, The Ridgeway and Thames Paths, with Oxford and Reading each just 12 miles away, The George Hotel is the perfect base for both business and leisure guests.
