The perfect retreat to escape everyday life, where you can stroll through our beautiful one acre of land, unwind with a glass of wine in the wood-fired hot tub or outdoor bathtub, all while soaking in the views and the warm embrace of the fire pit. You can even bring your four-legged companion! The hut boasts a double bed, shower room and a kitchen with microwave oven, toaster and coffee machine at your disposal. Outside a private acre of land complete with secure fencing to keep your furry friend safe. Please Note: Our beautiful retreat is licenced by Wanderlust Camping Club, therefore when you stay at The Winford Retreat, the lead guest automatically joins the Wanderlust Camping Club for 12 months, you will be added to their mailing list and will occasionally receive updates such as information on new sites however you can ‘opt’ out of emails any time by contacting the club directly. The charm of the space extends beyond its interior, encompassing a private acre of land complete with secure fencing so your furry friend will find this haven equally welcoming. While basking in the serenity of the surroundings, it's important to note a few details. The Winford Retreat is a gateway to relaxation, boasting an array of nearby walking trails and cycling routes. The proximity to Bristol Airport and the town centre makes it a strategic location, with the historical charm of of Bath within reachable distance. We welcome one small to medium-sized dog to join your stay (please contact us if you have more than one dog). Kindly ensure your furry companion respects the hut and its surroundings by refraining from causing any damage or claiming the furniture, including the inviting bed. Whilst our description states 2 guests only, you are welcome to bring a young child/children that will either stay in the double bed with you, in a travel cot or we'd be delighted to supply a double sized foot pump operated floor bed. Enjoy toasting marshmallows on the fire pit!

Winford is a beautiful village on the outskirts of Bristol, close to lots of pubs and cafes as well as Bristol Airport. The shepherd hut is situated within an acre of open space, backing onto rolling fields with local walks and bike rides. A short drive into Bristol town centre for a great shopping day or a longer drive into Bath town centre for a day strolling around the historic roman baths, scenery and shops. Parson Street train station is a short drive away, where you can travel to a number of places such as Bristol, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare or even London. Cycling; Cycle to local pubs and cafes, and around Winford village and beyond. Parking; Parking at The Winford Retreat is free for our guests and there are 2 parking spaces available. Bus; The local bus stop is a short walk to the Bridgwater Road. Park and Ride; The local park and ride is in Ashton, not too far from us. Train Station; Parson Street.
