The Wight Mouse Inn is a friendly, family owned free house and restaurant, situated in the quiet hamlet of Chale on the south coast of the Isle of Wight with spectacular views along the coast to the Needles and beyond. We are popular with walkers, cyclists, families and anyone wanting to explore the Island or visiting friends. There's an outdoor play area with plenty of seating for a lazy lunch in the sun or an aperitif whilst watching the beautiful sunset after a day out at Blackgang Chine. Food is served from 12 noon through to 9pm. A specials board that is full of home-cooked food that's ever changing and the more traditional fayre is on our menu. So whether you need a base for exploring the Island or a quiet get away with pleasant walks, a place to stop whilst travelling the Island we could be the place for you.
