We have owned the Westbourne since July 2025. Our guest house is special for various reasons: Excellent location. 2 minutes walk to restaurants & shops and 2 minutes to forest walks with beautiful views. Traditional Lake District slate house built in 1888, great lounge with honesty bar and sun lounge. Comfortable rooms in various sizes and at various rates. Gold Award for Windermere in Bloom and above all, owners who really enjoy your company and love living in Bowness.

Our property is in a quiet area, yet only minutes from all the shops, bars and restaurants of Bowness on Windermere.
Many of our guests park there car in arrival and never need to use it again due to our location and the fantastic public transport available in the Lake District.
