Ilfracome is an old Victorian fishing port, it became very popular with Victorian family's as there first choice for holidays in Devon, we still have the original Victorian bathing pool at the tunnels beach. Our Guesthouse is within Fore Street which is the oldest street within Ilfracome, it is well known for the mix of first class Restaurant one of which is The Olive Room down stairs from our guest house, it is a fine dinning Michelin and AA 2 Rosettes Restaurant. The harbour is breath taking, sail boats drifting on the tide, wine bar, the Great British fish and chips at there best and don't miss Verity, Damien Hurst famous statue which is 1mtr higher than the Angel of the north! We are also very lucky to be on the coastal path, the leg from here to Woolacombe is said to be one of the most enchanting walks of the over 600 miles the path covers. We are also on the Tarka Trail, an old railway line that has been converted to a cycle track, mile and miles of peaceful cycling without traffic. Why not take a trip on one of our pleasure boats for a trip around the bay, you may spot Dave the Dolphin chasing the boat! We must not forget Lundy Island, a sanctuary away from modern life, no c
