The Old Mill Rooms

Being a self-check in property does not take any character away from the Old Mill Rooms. We decided to become self-check with it allowing us to offer guests more flexibility when needing to check in and check out. On site, is as you may guess, the Old Windmill, which was converted into a home for the owners and their family circa 1750, the owners and their family still live on site so you will often bump into Andy who is a race car enthusiast, if he is not in his garage working on his cars he is away racing them, or you will bump into Zoe, his wife, an entrepreneur who loves to host and have a great time. The Old Mill Rooms has always been a family run business with a very close-knit team. Housekeeping or "the girls as we call them" are often on site most mornings, and are there to help with anything you may need - nothing is ever too much. Our reception is off-site but they are on-hand to help with any inquiries. We are a very warm and friendly place, who want our guests to enjoy their stay as much as we enjoy running it.

A peaceful escape, The Old Mill Rooms is the perfect place for a getaway trip, whether this be for couples, friends, families and business, we have rooms for every type of stay. Our self-check in rooms allow ease and flexibility for our guests. On the grounds we have 3 private hot tub rooms, The Woodstore (pet friendly), The Granary and The Toot Suite. All en-suite offering well equipped and modern rooms for your stay. We also allow guests to book 2 rooms and use the same hot tub (certain rooms only). The Toot Suite - A huge open plan suite inclusive of kitchen, dining and living space. Perfect for a weekend away, with your own private hot tub in an enclosed hut for ultimate privacy. This room can also accommodate an extra 2 persons. The Granary - A sleek and modern double en-suite room, sleeping 2, the Granary is one of our favourite rooms. With a smart TV, coffee machine and it's own little garden with private hot tub, it's a lovely romantic escape. The Woodstore - Recently updated with a new private hot tub, The Woodstore is our latest pet friendly hot tub room. A gorgeous green outside area, perfect for you to relax, listen to music and have a great time. The Barn - A luxury double room or family room, this newly pet friendly room is spacious, modern and has everything you need for a great stay. The Toolshed - A cozy double en-suite room, perfect for business, or a stop-over trip to visit friends or family. The Barley Store - A modern sleek room, similar to the Granary but without the hot tub, perfect again for business, or stopping over for a night or 2. All rooms as standard come with WIFI, smart TVs, tea & coffee making facilities, towels. Hot Tub rooms also come with robes. We have outdoor benches and seating for when we have great weather. We have something for everyone and pride ourselves in being an oasis, somewhere you can escape and enjoy!

Situated down a quiet back lane, bordering between Ingleby Barwick and Yarm, you will find the peaceful Old Mill Rooms. We are around a 2 minute walk from the lovely Fox Covert Pub and Restaurant, which serves fantastic food and drinks. Nearby, approximately 5-10 minute walk, is the Leven Valley Alpaca Walking Experience where you can get up close and personal with furry friends. Visit Preston Park Museum & Grounds or enjoy food, drinks, cinema, bowling and shopping at Teesside Park.
