Situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire, ideally located for exploring the castles, hill-walking and the many amenities the village of Kemnay has to offer. The Lodge is situated in a peaceful environment with an elevated view of the local countryside and surrounding farm animals, but still within safe, easy walking distance to excellent local restaurants, pubs, several shops and a mini supermarket.

Kemnay is a busy town with two pubs, restaurants, butchers and baker, chip shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways, as well as several shops and a mini supermarket. Buses are readily available into nearby Inverurie as well as Aberdeen. There are many local areas to visit, castle trails, hill walking and multiple outdoor sports.
