The Little House is a beautiful cottage tucked away in a tranquil village. This recently converted property is located to the rear of a traditional Victorian terrace, just a stones throw from open countryside and superb pubs. Perfect for couples or single travellers alike, it lies in the heart of Teasdale close to the market town of Barnard Castle. An ideal stop off for the Pennine and Teesdale Way walks and the Coast to Coast. Bijou, beautiful and utterly romantic.

I live close by and am always available via text and telephone to provide as much help to guests as I can.

Cotherstone is a small, rural village set in the heart of Teesdale; a stunning yet often overlooked neighbour of North Yorkshire. The village has a strong community spirit and boasts 2 great pubs, one of which serves delicious, home cooked food. Most guests arrive at The Little House by car however, there is a bus service between the nearby towns of Barnard Castle and Middleton in Teesdale which passes through the village hourly. There are endless places of interest and walks to enjoy in and around Cotherstone, accessible on foot, cycling, driving or taking the bus. Darlington railway station is a 35 minute drive from The Little House and can also be reached by taking 2 buses.
