Just off the NC500 the High Croft is a small family run working croft on the Rogart heights in the north Highlands of Scotland. We have spectacular views over the local landscape and far beyond; from the Assynt hills in the west, down to (on a clear day) the Cairngorms in the south. There is an area of the gardens with a picnic bench for your use and for those days when you want to stay in and keep cosy, both bedrooms and the lounge have flat screen TVs with Roku streaming services. Our holiday apartment is a cosy retreat from the hectic pace of life and offers comfortable accommodation for families, couples & individuals looking for either the tranquility or adventure that this incredible landscape offers.

We have been in love with the Scottish highlands for many years and are excited to open our croft for others to experience and enjoy. You'll see us around, tending to our animals or chopping wood and we'll be there to provide a warm welcome and helping hand if needed.

Rogart is a stunning area of the highlands with a wealth of opportunities for just about everyone. There is excellent fishing on the river Brora as well as Loch Brora and historical sites such as Dunrobin Castle & Carn Liath are a short drive away. There are many opportunities for hillwalking on the doorstep and the area has a real sense of wildness. We are close to some beautiful beaches at Brora, Golspie and Dornoch as well as their famous golf courses. Further afield, the Assynt hills, Inverness, Loch Ness, Ullapool and Falls of Shin are all popular day trips. Best of all is the peace and pace of highland life that help you to unwind and enjoy everything that our community has to offer.
