Just 10 minutes’ drive from the unspoilt beauty of the Forest of Dean, The Millingbrook Lodge offers individually styled rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is a 5-minute drive from Lydney, and close to Wales and Cheltenham.
Each room is spacious and cosy, with traditional wooden furnishings. Some have charming features like exposed brick walls, and all feature a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
Millingbrook Lodge’s restaurant serves fresh, traditional, home-cooked food, and on Sunday there is a self-serve carvery. Fully cooked and light breakfast are available in the morning.
The building is designed to reflect the Victorian style of the pub next door, and the church behind the building. Guests also have use of a secure bicycle storage area.
“The staff were amazing, very friendly and warm. We stayed overnight as we had a family 60th celebration that night, so had the breakfast the next morning and the breakfast was lush!
Would definetely stay again!

Room was large and had the twin beds we requested. Small window so appeared dark however it was hot outside so stayed cooler.
Mattress felt a bit lumpy but we did have a comfortable night sleep.
