We are a family run business from our 15 year old daughter to 70+ year old Nana Val. Our family has a very long history in the village in fact we have moved a 100 yards in four generations!! and the house is built on the old vegetable garden and chicken run (very spoilt chickens). Paul and Val started to build the Bungalows in the 1970's and opened their doors to guests in 1977. Val still lives in the bungalow at the end and will be on hand to help in any way we can during your stay, just pop round and ask, you may even get a story or two.
Guests looking for a walking holiday can quite literally step out their front door and onto the lower slopes of Blencathra, taking them on to a number of walks including Sharps Edge, Skiddaw House and Lowscales (the later two can also be ridden on mountain bikes).
