The Boathouse is a quiet holiday home. It offers the perfect setting to relax and recharge your batteries. It's located amongst the lakes of the Wardend Fishery. Despite the quiet and rural location the centre of Elgin is only 5 minutes away. Elgin offers shopping, culture, restaurants and other amenities of a Scottish town. The holiday home is in the heart of Speyside - one of the most famous regions for Single Malt Whisky. Elgin / Morayshire is well-known for it's nice micro-climate and the beautiful beaches along the Moray Firth. This is the perfect place to spot seals, dolphins and other animals (e.g. ospreys, salmon...) or to enjoy the culinary treats of the Northern Atlantic. The area played an important and emotional role in history. Enjoy the amazing dark skies and from September to March, if you're lucky, the Aurora Borealis. The area is great to be discovered by bicycle or mountain bike. Enjoy and relax at the Wardend Fishery.
