Company information

When not actively managing the beacon I enjoy playing the guitar, golf, fishing and socialising with friends while watching live bands on a Saturday.

Property information

We have been continually upgrading the Beacon for the last year. Each room has been tended to with love and care and we can't wait for our guests to experience them. We are a family run hotel so caring for our guests is at the heart of everything we do and if we can do anything to improve your experience when staying with us please do not hesitate to let us know. Our check in time is 3pm until 9pm.

Neighbourhood information

The location of the Beacon is one of its strongest points, being close to the town centre, beach, train station, golf club, leisure centre and more. Being just 300 meters from the train station means you can also enjoy a trip to the neighbouring coastal town of Saltburn or the more industrialised Middlesbrough just west of Redcar. For activities within Redcar you could attend a day at the local racecourse only 500 meters away or the established Cleveland Golf Club only 300 metres away. Finally, when you are hungry from your days activities, whatever they may be, there are a number of good restaurants nearby as well as a Wetherspoons and many other independent pubs. Please ask us for a recommendation if you're coming from afar!
