Roualeyn is a charming Farm Cottage, on Corskellie Farm just outside the delightful village of Milltown of Rothiemay. The cottage is only about ten years old and enjoys unspoilt views across stunning countryside sloping down to the River Deveron. The accommodation is over two floors with the King and Twin bedrooms upstairs and the Double bedroom downstairs. There are two bathrooms an ensuite for the King room and the family bathroom downstairs. The kitchen has a dining area but there is also a separate Dining room. The Living room has a newly installed log burner and has double doors out into a Sunroom. Guests at Roualeyn have free use of the garden around the cottage but access to the farmyard is limited.

We are a farming family who recently moved to Corskellie from Northern Ireland. The farm is a mixed farm, rearing Cattle and Sheep and growing Arable crops over 400 acres. If you are interested in the farm please ask before entering the farmyard areas due to health and safety. We want our guests to feel at home in our lovely farm cottage and if we can help make your stay more special then we will do our best to accommodate.

Roualeyn makes an ideal base for exploring the North East of Scotland. Choose a different direction everyday and you will not be disappointed. Castles, Distilleries, Beaches, Gardens, Hills and Lochs are all easy day trips from Roualeyn. The cottage is on a single track road with little traffic so ideal for cycling and walking. The Deveron River is just at the bottom of the fields and fishing can be arranged with the local Gillie. There is a Play park and Tennis Court in the village which are free to use and swimming, golf and nordic skiing are all available in Huntly. The local hotel in Rothiemay - the Forbes Arms has a bar and restaurant and is a pleasant walk away. Rothiemay Stores in the village has basic groceries and newspapers.
