We have just finished building 3 new guest rooms at Roger Ground which is located halfway between Windermere and Bowness down a secluded private drive off Thornbarrow Road. We have our own private parking for Guests and there is ample parking on Thornbarrow Road for any extra or over-sized vehicle if you are coming in more than one car. The Rooms themselves are all en-suite, comfortable and newly set out and some have guest fridges and microwaves. We have 3 spacious guest rooms and a self-catering suite all on the ground floor with their own private entrances.
Marina Morris and her husband Martin have been in the hospitality business in the Windermere area for over a dozen years and have recently sold a large guest house and are looking forward to welcoming new and old guests to our new venture.
Lake Windermere and the bustling and vibrant town centre of Bowness-on-Windermere are 10-15 minutes walk away as is Windermere town centre. The whole of the Lake District with its many attractions are within driving distance and are also accessible by boat/bus/tours. There are more than 30 Restaurants/Cafes/Bars and Tesco, Co-Op, Sainsburys convenience stores as well as a Booths Supermarket and Lakeland within walking distance.
