I love this town and surrounding area and want all visitors to get the best they can from it so when you arrive will normally go into chapter and verse about where to visit, walk, eat, drive and maybe a couple of places to avoid even!
So many people in the hospitality industry are not hospitable (they really should do something different) so I believe it's my job to ensure you feel comfortable in your temporary environment.
Having had pubs in the area I'm happy to say we have some good ones in the town, they also do their best to look after people in the same way I and my "fairies" (they look after your room!) do at "B Simply Rooms"

I used to travel a lot on business and be really miffed if the beds were uncomfortable, the heating uncontrolable and the showers pathetic, they being amongst the most important things needed for a good nights rest.
As I live on site peripheral noise was something I wished to avoid, the property is positioned at the end of a cul-de-sac so no road noise from passing vehicles.
We have ample parking which as parking in Stow is a nightmare and we are within 150 metres walking distance of the South side of the town Square through the little alleys

Stow on the Wold... in the middle of no-where and the middle of everywhere being one of the most central and most beautiful parts of the country with history going back to 4500 years BC (The Rollright Stones nearby), it has long been a central trading point with half a dozen major historic tracks meeting here.
We'll never run out of history, within a 20 minute drive there's enough to keep visitors busy for a couple of weeks, within a 40 minute drive and I doubt whether even the locals have seen 1%of it!
We've some stunning walks, none I would say is too onerous and most well signposted of which there's more information about at "B" or the visitors centre in the local library.
As for driving... the roads are awful and lovely in equal measures BUT, it really is worth exploring and being inquisitive by nipping down a little road to see what's at the end of it, very often a stunning little village with no-one but yourself mooching about. I've pulled together a helpfull little sheet of must see (and avoid) places.
