Here at the Elumid Dreams, we’ve rolled out the proverbial antique hand-woven Persian carpets for you so that you’ll be treated like royalty when you arrive for your stay. We can’t wait to welcome you within our historic walls, positioned against the beautiful backdrop of Edinburgh’s Old Town (which, by the way, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Our interior is just as special: a rustic yet regal style rubs shoulders with the nature and surrealistic large scale canvases. The charm of the Scottish outdoors is brought inside, thanks to the botanical-themed decorative touches.
One of the main sightseeings of Edinburgh Old town, is its historic Middle Ages architecture. And you can find one of the best examples of this here on one of Edinburgh's most iconic streets, Coburn St., where you will be staying. Our building is a historic building made in 1820, and we feel extremely honoured to have the opportunity to keep and preserve the history alive, so our guests and travellers can have the opportunity to explore and enjoy. Entering the building you will see our stunning historic staircase, which reminds us of Beethoven Haus in Bonn, Germany. There'll be two flights of stairs, with a view to the inner courtyard, and there you are, embraced in the warmth of your own home, in Edinburgh.
We proud ourselves in our guests' comfort and satisfaction, and we feel deeply thrilled to make your journey a memorable experience. Fresh linens, towels, shampoo and hair conditioner will be provided. And while you'll be enjoying the complete privacy of your own bedroom, you'll also have complete access to the common area, including the Kitchen, Dining area and Bathroom. Common spaces are also most likely majority of the time quiet and empty dedicated to your private use.

Getting to your warm and comfortable residence in Edinburgh is a breeze – it’s within walking distance of Edinburgh Waverley station and a mere bus ride from Edinburgh Airport. You’re sure to be impressed by the central location of our artist designed apartment, just a few walking steps from the famous Royal Mile. Our affordable suite is close to all the sights, making it the perfect base from which to explore the city: stride down the Royal Mile, go shopping in Edinburgh’s city centre and dive into local history at the National Museum of Scotland while meeting Bobby and his loyalty, or immersing yourself into the mesmerising and magical world of National Gallery, walking down the beautiful Princess Gardens. The Royal Botanic Garden, Princes Street, the Scott Monument and John Knox House are also just a short walk away. There are umpteen pubs, restaurants and cafés near our apartment, too. If you fancy a breath of fresh air but don’t have time to get from Edinburgh to the Highlands, how about climbing up Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park? Edinburgh’s very own mountain offers you a stunning view of the city proper, Edinburgh Castle and Calton Hill. Or, you could head to a nearby whisky distillery and get a real taste of Scotland, in the truest sense of the word. So, cheers – or as they say in Scotland, ‘Slàinte mhath!’
