We are Corinne and David, and in 2016 we decided to take a drive to the coast from our house in London on a grey, rainy day and found ourselves in Ramsgate. Despite the weather, we instantly fell in love with the town and its beautiful harbour and stunning architecture. So we stayed! Although we have done holiday letting during our time down here, our dream was to renovate a property and turn it into holiday apartments. So when Paragon Home came on the market in 2021 we knew we had to snap it up! We have spent nearly two years renovating the property, restoring many of its original features, as well as decorating and furnishing it to reflect its Georgian heritage. We are passionate about our lovely house, and want all our guests to have a memorable and enjoyable break that they'll remember forever. We provide all the amenities that we'd expect on our holiday - such as comfy beds and quality mattresses, fluffy towels, and the 'extras' such as a coffee machine, tea making facilities, wi-fi and toiletries. Whenever possible, we meet and greet all our guests so we can show them the property and answer and questions they may have. We also provide contact details so guests can be reassured that they can contact us any time of the day or night. We have both worked in corporate jobs in London for many years, and so we understand how important your holidays are. Together we are confident that you'll have a memorable and enjoyable break that you'll be remembering for years to come!

Paragon Home is a Georgian townhouse facing Ramsgate harbour and just a short walk from the beach and town centre. It takes its name from when it was a convalescent home for unmarried mothers in the late 19th century, and has been a home, hotel and guest house over the decades. Each of our rooms has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, reflecting its Georgian heritage. All our rooms have views across the harbour (on a clear day you can see France), and have an ensuite bathroom with shower. Wi-fi is available throughout the house, as well as thermostat central heating, TV, coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer and toiletries. Positioned close to many excellent local bars, restaurants and coffee shops, all our guests have their own front door and room key so they can come and go as they please. There is free parking in the roads around the property, with Ramsgate train station just a 15/20 minute walk away (there is also a taxi rank outside the station).
